Instructions for Cleaning the Vacuum Conveying System

Complete disassembly and cleaning procedure for the feeder: Remove the following components in sequence: the top cover, filter element, filter housing, hopper, discharge door seal and pneumatic door. Blow out, wipe down and wash each component separately to remove any residual material. Ensure that the filter element is thoroughly cleaned weekly or whenever the material is changed; when fitting the discharge door O-ring, ensure the pointed edge faces downwards; when washing the hopper, take care to prevent water from seeping into the swing cylinder; Reassemble all components from the bottom up, ensuring there are no air leaks in the piping.

1. Loosen the quick-release clamps between the top cover and the filter chamber of the feeder, and set the top cover aside securely. As this part does not come into contact with the material, it only needs to be wiped down;

 

2. Remove the filter and use compressed air to blow away any material from the surface; it should be thoroughly cleaned weekly or whenever the product type is changed;

 

3. Loosen the quick-release clamp between the filter chamber and the feed hopper, remove the filter chamber barrel and the sealing ring, and clean them;

 

4. Loosen the heavy-duty clamp between the material pipeline and the feed hopper, then loosen the quick-release clamp between the feed hopper and the discharge door chamber; remove the feed hopper barrel and clean the inner walls and the feed pipe inlet;

 

5. Remove the discharge door O-ring, clean it and refit it, ensuring the sharp edge faces downwards;

 

6. Clean the pneumatic door and the inner walls of the discharge door chamber;

 

7. Tighten the bolts on the pneumatic door panel;

 

8. For a thorough clean, the discharge hopper must be removed and washed, taking care to prevent water from entering the swing cylinder;

 

9. Once cleaning is complete, reassemble the components in a bottom-up sequence to prevent air leaks.
