Methods for the vacuum conveyance of calcium powder

Negative-pressure pneumatic conveying can transport calcium powder to processing equipment such as mixers, kneaders or extruders. When bulk powdered materials—such as flour, sugar, salt, calcium carbonate or other substances—need to be conveyed efficiently from one location to another, a variety of pneumatic conveying systems can be used, depending on the powdered material being handled, the distance to be covered and the required conveying capacity.

Blockages in Pneumatic Conveying Systems

Pneumatic conveying is a complex gas-solid two-phase flow system, in which particle motion is influenced by multiple factors such as air velocity, friction and collisions. High-speed conveying can easily lead to material fragmentation and pipeline wear, whilst reducing the velocity is prone to causing pipeline blockages; conveying efficiency is therefore constrained by both material and equipment parameters.

Instructions for Cleaning the Vacuum Conveying System

Complete disassembly and cleaning procedure for the feeder: Remove the following components in sequence: the top cover, filter element, filter housing, hopper, discharge door seal and pneumatic door. Blow out, wipe down and wash each component separately to remove any residual material. Ensure that the filter element is thoroughly cleaned weekly or whenever the material is changed; when fitting the discharge door O-ring, ensure the pointed edge faces downwards; when washing the hopper, take care to prevent water from seeping into the swing cylinder; Reassemble all components from the bottom up, ensuring there are no air leaks in the piping.

Characteristics of Powder Conveying and Weighing Systems

Mingke Intelligent Equipment combines computer technology, mechanical engineering and pneumatic powder conveying technology to launch a customisable powder conveying and weighing system. This system significantly reduces manual labour, fully automating the conveying of multi-component powders, precise weighing and formula-based dispensing. It supports flexible formula editing and is equipped with a PLC for precise processing of weight signals, enabling the synchronised conveying of multiple materials across the entire plant whilst offering user-friendly operation. The system boasts nine key features, including stable measurement, intelligent batching, a fully enclosed dust-free design, automatic batch weighing, remote control and data printing, and is capable of adapting to the process requirements of various production lines. It represents a cost-effective and efficient automated powder batching solution that meets the current market demand for pneumatic conveying combined with multi-component weighing.

Mixing of lithium-ion battery slurry

The high-speed mixing and dispersion process for lithium-ion battery slurry accounts for over 30 per cent of the impact on battery quality and is a critical stage in production. Traditional mixing equipment suffers from issues such as dead zones in slurry dispersion and uneven dispersion. The MK-LB series, featuring a new generation of mixing technology, utilises multi-fluid effects to refine and disperse the slurry through extrusion and intense shear forces, thereby eliminating process defects and effectively enhancing the dispersion quality of the lithium-ion battery slurry and the performance of the finished batteries.

Continuous weighing — differential loss-in-weight balance

Zero-gravity scales are gradually replacing traditional equipment such as belt scales and screw scales, and their use is becoming increasingly widespread. They calculate material flow by continuously monitoring changes in the weight of the weighing unit in real time, and utilise PID algorithms to control material flow with precision; as they are unaffected by mechanical fluctuations, they offer higher measurement accuracy. Combining the advantages of both static and dynamic scales, the system design must take into account conveying rate, sensor range, mechanical structure and transmission stability to ensure accurate and stable measurement.

The working principle and application of continuous weightless scale

In various fields of modern industrial production, the use of continuous feeding with dynamic weighing function to form a bulk material conveying system is expanding. A continuous loss-in-weight scale is a continuous device that can continuously adjust the conveying rate of materials and measure the conveying quantity. Also known as loss-in-weight feeder, loss-in-weight feeder.
