Characteristics of PE Water Supply Pipes:
1. Long service life: Under normal conditions, the service life can reach 50 years.

Good hygiene: PE pipes contain no heavy metal additives, do not accumulate scale and do not harbour bacteria, thereby significantly mitigating the problem of secondary contamination of drinking water. They comply with the safety assessment standard GB/T 17219 and the relevant health and safety assessment regulations of the Ministry of Health.
3. Resistance to corrosion from a wide range of chemical media: No electrochemical corrosion.
4. Smooth inner walls and low coefficient of friction, which improve the flow capacity of the medium and provide excellent wear resistance.
5. Good flexibility, high impact strength, and resistance to strong vibrations and twisting.
6. Lightweight, facilitating easy transport and installation.
7. Specialised electrofusion, butt fusion and socket fusion technologies ensure that joint strength is equivalent to that of the pipe body, guaranteeing the reliability of the joints.
8. The welding process is simple, installation is convenient, and the overall project cost is low.
9. PE water supply pipes with diameters ranging from DN20 to DN90 are blue; those with diameters of DN110 and above are blue or black with a blue stripe; other colours are available to order, and the colour of fittings corresponds to that of the pipes.
10. Low flow resistance: HDPE pipes have a smooth inner surface with a Manning coefficient of 0.009. The smooth surface and non-adhesive properties ensure that HDPE pipes have a higher conveyance capacity than traditional pipes, whilst also reducing pressure loss in the pipeline and energy consumption during water conveyance.
